Firstly, a big welcome to Women’s Lifestyle Secrets!  I’m very glad you found your way here and I look forward to connecting with you on this journey!!

A little background about me; I’m a mom of two very active young boys, who are truly the center of my world.  I was fortunate enough to stay at home raising my boys until they got into school, and then I knew I needed to get back to business, and the journey began! Creating the right pathway for me to obtain time freedom (a necessity as a mom), financial freedom (why work my tail off for someone else’s gain), a healthy balanced lifestyle (we have nothing without health), and portability (I love to travel with my boys and want my business to go where I go), was my life plan.

Previous to having children I owned a successful wedding and event planning studio and on-line and retail store, so I’m an entrepreneur at heart. I ventured into a business I knew nothing about, I was still single and wasn’t a part of this industry, but I started a new venture! I had many successes in the company; planning a million-dollar wedding in the first year of business, doing an 8 week feature with Global TV, and having my website featured on the David Chalk Show. I sent my main wedding co-ordinator to Los Angeles to participate in a show called Making It Big.  She won and was invited to plan a charity event with Sharon Sacks, event planner to the stars. One of our weddings was featured in the Wedding Bells Magazine and everything was going in the right direction. But….as all business owners know, it can be an exhausting road. The 16 hour days one after the other, overhead, staffing, etc., were challenging. Was it all worth it? At the time I was enjoying what I did and my lifestyle immensely, but it was all business and it was not conducive to good family life or being a good parent, so I knew that had to change. 

The biggest nugget I got out of my wedding business experience was gaining the knowledge of what I didn’t want in my future business endeavors….no more full-time staff (only contract now), overhead costs, stock, customer service issues, lack of freedom, etc., This ultimately led me to explore my options in the on-line world.

They say life hands you what you can handle….and it did along my entrepreneurial journey.   I was enjoying my business, working behind the scenes quietly, building things up when I encountered some serious health issues.  This shifted my focus completely to not just changing my own life, but I felt compelled to help as many moms as I possibly could to change their lives too!  This has totally become a focus of mine, to help women obtain lifestyle freedom and a healthy, more balanced life.  As moms we are selfless and we often put everyone’s needs before our own, forgetting about ourselves.  I’m here to help you take control back and live your best life possible!  Let’s get started today!!
